Accommodation

The River House can accommodate up to 5 people (seven if it includes The River Pavilion). It really is a home away from home.

All bedrooms feature very comfortable King beds, which can be split into King singles (for a small extra charge).

The Retreat Pavilion is a completely self-contained unit overlooking the Food Forest Garden. In addition to the lovely, spacious bedroom there is also a single trundle bed in the living area.

The Junction Room, which is in the main building can accommodate two. It features a beautiful bedroom, ensuite, bar fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. It has its own entrance.

The River Pavilion is only let by arrangement and is for special occasions.

All units have access to the glorious pergola, barbeque, pizza oven and communal laundry. Help yourself carefully to produce from the Food Forest Garden.

If you have children please discuss with Linda & Garry. The peace and quiet of our other guests is an important consideration.

Facilities

The River House is Linda and Garry’s retirement home, so no expense has been spared. The fixtures & fittings, furniture, decor, artworks, in fact everything, is to the highest standard. It really is a home away from home.

The design is thermally efficient and is supported by fans throughout, as well as reverse cycle air conditioning in each of the bedrooms (and throughout in the Retreat Pavilion). 

All suites have:

  • Large television.
  • Hairdryer in bathroom.
  • Luggage racks.
  • Books and magazines for your enjoyment.
  • Communal laundry in the main building & iron and board in The Retreat.
  • Access to Barbeque facilities, pizza oven and a glorious outdoor dining area which sits under the pergola overlooking the pond.

The River Pavilion Also Has:

  • Outdoor terrace overlooking the river with ceiling fan and seating for six.
  • Sound system
  • Everything you could want in a kitchen

Bingara has a range of retail outlets and eateries all within walking distance.

Tariff

River Pavilion$237 per night.
Minumum of 3 nights and by arrangement.
Junction Room$134 per night.
No minimum stay.
Retreat Pavilion$186 per night.
Trundle bed: $50 (One-off charge)
Minimum of 2 nights stay.

Should you wish to have the king beds split into king singles a one-off charge of $25 will apply.

Last minute bookings are accepted, and bookings will be confirmed on receipt of your payment or as advised.

Payment

Credit card or cash. There is an ATM at the Regional Australia Bank in Maitland Street.

Last minute bookings, or those less than 4 days before arrival must be paid in cash or card upon arrival.

Cancellation

Your payment is refundable in the event of a cancellation at least three days prior to arrival. Otherwise there will be a one-night charge.

With Christmas and public holiday bookings, there will be a two night charge if cancelled less than one month before the date of arrival.

Retreat Pavilion

The Retreat Pavilion is private and separate to the main building which is available for a minimum 2 night stay. It overlooks The Food Forest Garden and is open plan in design. There is a generous living area with large dining table, full kitchen, generous bedroom and bathroom, all of which have reverse cycle air-conditioning. 

The living area can have a single trundle bed added if required.

The Retreat Pavilion has access to the glorious pergola, barbeque, pizza oven and communal laundry. It has its own iron and ironing board.

Junction Room

The Junction Room features beautiful works of art and is positioned in the middle of the main building, with its own separate entrance. 

The reverse cyle air-conditioned room (plus ceiling fan) has an ensuite bathroom.

There is a bar fridge and tea/coffee/toasting facilities, and guests have access to all the garden facilities and the communal laundry.

The entrance area is a particularly lovely space to soak up the morning sunshine.

River Pavilion

The River Pavilion is only available for special occasions, for a minimum of three nights stay. It particularly suits weddings, family gatherings and the like which require both accommodation and an entertainment area. If you would like to book, check availability with Linda & Garry.

The Pavilion is north facing and overlooks the river and park and provides outstanding views, particularly enjoyed from the generous outdoor terrace. There is a large & well equipped gourmet kitchen, living room and dining area, all open plan and made more spacious by the exquisite vaulted roof.  A gas fire and ceiling fans will ensure your comfort all year round.

The reverse cycle air-conditioned bedroom has lovely Picture frame windows that capture the views and complement the rest of the décor and the art works.
